Martial Arts for the little ones

topic posted Sat, November 10, 2007 - 6:22 PM by  Xtine
Anyone have a recommendation for a Martial Arts place that has classes for 4 year olds? I live in the center of town (speedway and craycroft) so something relatively close would be good.

There is one right around the corner from my place on Pima but they start letting kids in at 6 years old. I know there are Little Dragon classes available, somewhere!

Thanks.

Hey there! I was taking free capoiera classes. They don´t really have an age limit or anything, it´s a pretty laid back and kind atmosphere. They are held tues and thurs at 4:30 at the boys n girls club (skrappys) right downtown (congress). It´s my personal favorite martial art because it´s so fluid and there´s no contact. Check it out!

Been awhile since I've been on... I have my little one at kodenkanoftucson.com/. I've been very very impressed so far. (she's in Karate Kids--8 years old) They do have Little Dragons.

The instructors are fabulous and the difference it's made in my daughters life in a just a couple months has been wonderful! I highly recommend it!
