I've noticed that this tribe isn't super active, but it looks like people watch, so I decided to post.
I'm moving to Tucson in August, from North Carolina, and I'm interested in hearing about what kinds of fun festival-type things go on regularly in Tucson, or Southern AZ. (I am already looking forward to the all souls procession!). I'm originally from New Mexico, so I'm super stoked about coming out. The desert soothes me.
As is probably obvious from my tribe photo, I play with hoops and do fire, but am interested in whatever cool community things go on in the area.

Also there are a bunch of festivals, at gotucson.com they have almost everything posted! Another good source for information is a community center called El Ojito. They know pretty much everything that goes on downtown.

I do poi and hoops, starting on staff. My boyfriend is amazing with the fire poi. Flam Chen looks awesome.
