i will most likely stay at the local youth hostel & was wondering if there is any way to get to Saquaro park or sabino canyon by bus? any info greatly appreciated.. thanx

Mon, December 10, 2007 - 6:55 AMyou can also rent or buy a cheap bike @ bicas.org ( or trade them for doing work)and most of the busses here have a rack for bikes so if you can get close then you can ride the rest of the way. There's a SNP west and a SNP east. The east one may be closer to public transportation and both are hilly but bikeable. Just remember that even if it's cool here to drink water while biking /hiking. Sabino is darn steep but again bikeable, depending on your skil level, jsut be very careful on the way down, especialy if there's enough water to get your rims wet and and cause momentary brake loss. There is a seperate tram that goes to the top of sabino, but i don't know what they charge
